Italian Government Scholarships.
We take this opportunity to remind you that the Italian Government is offering scholarships for the academic year 2008/2009 to both Australian Citizens & Italian citizens who are permanent residents in Australia.

Applications must reach the Italian Embassy in Canberra no later than the 12th of May 2008. In the event of the scholarship being awarded, the time frame stipulated for this scholarship is from the 1st October 2008 to the 30th September 2009.

The application will need to be in duplicate copy, filled in Italian by the applicant, and mailed directly to the Italian Embassy in Canberra (Embassy of Italy - 12 Grey Street - Deakin ACT 2600) Please ensure to enclose the following documentation:
a) a copy of your qualifications (see paragraph 'Necessary Qualifications' in the attached information);
b) certificate of Italian language skill level released by the Education Office at the Italian Consulate Brisbane.
c) At least two letters of reference from Australian academic authorities (Universities etc..).
Further documentation will need to be presented in the event you are awarded the scholarship.

In accordance with the Program of Cultural Cooperation signed
by the Italian & Australian Governments, the Italian Governement
provides a number of scholarships to Australian graduates & undergratuates

The 2008 Pellegrino Scholarship is open to all candidates willing to improve in the fields of Arts with particular attention to music. The candidates must have obtained a formal school qualification at Secondary level (Senior Certificate) or Tertiary level (TAFE Diploma or Bachelor Degree). A relevant apprenticeship is also accepted.Age limit: 18-25 years as at 4th April 2008. CLOSING DATE FOR LODGEMENT OF THE APPLICATION: 4 April 2008

The Origini Course is aimed at the descendants of emigrants from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region who are residents abroad. The objective of the course is to encourage a new and fruitful collaboration between those descendants and the Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s business system. The course has a maximum of 20 places and applicants should be between the ages of 23 and 40.
The ideal candidate profile is a young college or high school graduate with some years of work experience, who is interested in acquiring specialized management education, with the aim to establish new entrepreneurial and economical relations with the companies working in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.

The Course will last for a period of 18 weeks from Monday July 21st 2008 to Saturday November 22nd 2008. Classes will be held at MIB School of Management (Palazzo del Ferdinandeo, Largo Caduti di Nasiryia 1, Trieste, Italy).Applications for the course, along with a Résumé, should be submitted by e-mail or fax to MIB School of Management no later than April 20th 2008.
