Carnevale Masquerade Ball

will be our Master of Ceremonies.


This gala night of enchantment, will be the major fundraising event for the coming year. In keeping with the European theme, guests are requested to dress in masquerade costume, but a Mask is a must!
The most outstanding dressed guest will win a
weekend mystery escape.

7.30pm – Cena

Entertainment will feature a diversity of music, song and dance, by a number of local “mystery” celebrities. During the course of the evening a number of items will also be auctioned. Seating will be tables of 10,
so why not book a table?

Celebrating “La settimana della lingua Italiana nel Mondo”

This year’s theme is “La Piazza”

An evening of music and celebration of Italian culture portrayed through music, song, dance and storytelling performed in Italian by Primary School LOTE students.

This event showcases the quality teaching and learning which is occurring in Italian LOTE programs across the Sunshine Coast.

Every year the quality of performances displayed by the schools is elevated to a new level and picking the two overall winners becomes a real task for the judges.


When: Friday 24th October 2008

Where: Lake Kawana Community Centre,
Sportsman’s Parade, Bokarina.

Time: Starts at 6.30 pm

Cost: $20
$10 children 3 years up to and including high school
