than 60 members, students and friends of the Italian School
Committee participated in the Australia Day Parade at Buderim
on Saturday 26th January. Themed "Thinking Italian Being Australian"
with T/shirts proudly bearing "united through language", the
colourful, cultural contingent on board the float and on foot,
were led by the school's Director, Gabriella Matacchioni, on
a Lambretta motor scooter, followed by the Italian Consul for
Qld and NT, Dott. Francesco Capecchi, in a 2001 Modena Ferrari
Coupe.
